Not actually a moving story, more a story about moving. Actually, I’m just changing web hosts ?

Having had the davehillnz.wordpress.com address since around 2016, and largely ignoring it until recently, I had no reason to be frustrated by the limitations of a free WordPress account.

Lately, however; I’ve been a bit bothered by the lack of access to CSS, PHP, jQuery, and various other subsystems. Not that I particularly want to modify them, but I want to know that I can. So, this site now resides at https://davehillnz.com which was picked up for a pretty good price at GoDaddy. Hosting is on Sitehost which has proven to be a pretty good option as far as New Zealand hosting companies go, and gives me SSH access to the server.

Apart from the hosting, everything pretty much remains the same and we’ll see how well the Jetpack Subscription Migration Tool works
